How to Download, Install, and Set Up MUSHclient Fast MUSHclient is a powerful, lightweight, and free MUD client for Windows. It allows you to connect to text-based multiplayer worlds (MUDs, MUSHes, and MOOs) with ease.
Follow this step-by-step guide to get MUSHclient up and running on your system in under five minutes. Step 1: Download MUSHclient Open your web browser.
Navigate to the official website: ://gammon.com.au/mushclient. Click the Download link in the main navigation menu.
Select the latest stable version installer stub (usually an .exe file). Save the file to your downloads folder. Step 2: Install the Software Locate the downloaded installer file on your computer. Double-click the file to launch the setup wizard. Click Next on the welcome screen. Read and accept the license agreement.
Choose your installation folder (the default location is recommended).
Select your preferred shortcut options (e.g., Desktop icon). Click Install to copy the files. Click Finish to close the wizard and launch MUSHclient. Step 3: Set Up Your First World Connection Open MUSHclient. Click File in the top menu bar, then select New World.
Enter a World Name (e.g., the name of the game you want to play).
Input the TCP/IP Address (the game’s server URL or IP address). Input the Port Number provided by the game. Select your connection type (usually standard Telnet). Click OK to save the profile. Step 4: Configure Crucial Settings Press Ctrl + I to open the World Properties menu.
